Rudykina (Zhorova) was born in Stalingrad in 1932. During the Battle of Stalingrad she stayed in the city and suffered all hardships of war. After the battle Stalingrad was still mined, and in spring 1943 Zhenya’s brother was blowed up. These experiences the girl reflected in her drawings. After the war Rudykina graduated from Leningrad Architectural Institute. For 20 years she was the main architect of Volzhsky, then - the main architect of Tractorozavodsky district of Volgograd. The last years of her life Rudykina (Zhorova) spent compiling the list of the architectural inheritage of Tsaritsyn-Stalingrad-Volgograd and the city of Volzhsky. She was one of the founders of the civil organization of the children of the war Stalingrad. Works of Zhenya Rudykina
